L’AltroGiovedì è lieto di avere all’interno del suo palinsesto mensile il collettivo Switch Live Net che torna dopo la parentesi estiva per un altro suggestivo evento.
Il palco prescelto è quello delle grandi occasioni, il Combo Firenze.
Siamo onorati di annunciare l’esibizione di uno fra i maggiori progetti della scena elettronica live, i Minimono, duo fiorentino composto da Fabio Della Torre ed Ennio Colaci.
Ad aprire le danze ci sarà il live dei Malibu Supersonic, giovane band fiorentina dalle sonorità Nu Funk/Soul Electronic.

Minimono was born in Florence in 1997 as a multimedia project involving experimentation through music installations, graphic design and theater performances.
Only later, in 2002 when dj Fabio Della Torre met rock n’ roll drummer and electronic producer Ennio Colaci, Minimono became an exclusive and passionate music project.
Their intent was melting their personal music experiences into a fresh techno productions with minimal experiments, still keeping a very pleasant funky house touch and combining dancefloor functionality with emphasis on melody and mood.
Minimono’s unconditioned effort to support and develop the local electronic scene eventually grabbed the attention of the hometown’s legendary Tenax Club.
After contributing with a powerful track and ep’s on the parisian Telegraph records, Minimono released also on other labels labels such as Tuningspork, Ethique, Safari Electronique, Loveletters From Oslo, and in 2008 Fabio & Ennio founded their own label Bosconi Records where they released their first album in 2010.
In 2015 Minimono released the well acclaimed Gang Of Fools EP on Bosconi records, and after that an EP on newborn Italian label Greentech music with a remix from Chicago legend Paul Johnson and on the consolidate french house label Robsoul.
Now they have recently released on Robsoul recordings, on legendary Italian label form the 90‘s Vibraphone records and John Dimas’ Elephant Moon and on Inner Balance Records.
Minimono’s live set has struck people’s attention for its dynamism, richness of electronic textures and from the duo’s ability to manipulate on action a wide range of samples, with a groovy and funky approach in electronic music.

Il puro, unico e libero divertimento rappresenta l’anima con cui nascono e crescono i Malibu.
Il progetto è un abbraccio musicale tra continenti, è un incontro di stili, di generi e di idee che si mescolano, come si mescola un mojito: 4.5cl di groove, 3cl di funky, beat quanto basta, e uno spruzzo di elettronica.
Il tutto servito in riva al mare, con infradito e occhiali da sole.
